CCÉ Boston Music School was founded in 1997 as part of the Reynolds Hanafin Cooley CCÉ branch, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving traditional Irish music, song, dance, language, and culture.

Welcome to CCÉ Boston Music School

The CCÉ Boston Music School provides beginner to advanced group lessons for children, teens, and adults in Irish Traditional music. We have a first-class roster of teachers who are professional musicians living in the Boston area, and who have performed all over the world.

CCÉ offers two 10-week semesters in the Fall and Spring for most traditional Irish instruments, including banjo, bodhran, button accordion, concertina, flute, guitar, harp, mandolin, sean nos singing (in Irish and English), tin whistle, and uilleann pipes. We also offer ensemble classes for students interested in playing and performing music together, and free teacher-led sessions for our enrolled students.
